I have scaled the active area down to one-quarter the pad area-just about the size of the Wacom Intuos Small model. WAY TOO BIG-probably perfect for illustrators, graphic artists, and animators-far too much real estate for standard photo editing and compositing.

When you say "doesn't work" what do you mean by that? Will the driver load? Is there any function at all? What happens when you simply plug the tablet in without loading the driver?
